I will dominate 'credible fighter' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.

Ex two-time world title holder Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on December 19th.

Boxer's Attitude

"I plan to injure his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I will seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."

Respectful Exchange

Despite these statements, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul rather criticized ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.

Financial Success

Still, the novice continues to be one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, regularly earning massive financial rewards.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.

Size Difference

As both boxers participated in the traditional face-off, with their size difference on show, it drove home just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the match is truly happening.
