Unbowed Celtic's manager insists he is not worried about the sack yet Celtic fans show anger following derby defeat.
The under-pressure manager declared he did not fear dismissal, asserting, “We are very near to a turnaround,” even after moving dangerously close to the exit with a heavy setback against their arch-rivals.
A Second-Half Meltdown Leads to Old Firm Loss
The home side had led Rangers at the interval but a collapse after the break enabled the Gers to move level on points with the reigning league title holders. Nancy, who was brought in in December, has now been in charge for six losses in eight games.

Fan Fury On Display

“It’s the results [that leads to pressure]. That is the reality for the moment. But when I say this is the reality, that is not a sign that I am a defeatist guy. No. The message is we are really close, really, really close to turn things around.”

“The level we had at certain moments was of top quality. This is the reality. I wouldn't say that if it was different. Therefore, when it comes to wins, I noted we've seen this before. For that reason I believe we are really close to things turning around. But for the moment: small things.”
“I saw a lot of encouraging signs that we did, once more. The issue now comes down to performing for 90 minutes. My outlook would not be the same. That’s why I am convinced we will manage to turn things around.”
The Rangers Boss Outlook
Danny Röhl was cautious about a championship push in spite of what seemed like a huge result. “We take it game by game, and we can gradually build momentum,” he said. “The belief in the group is outstanding.”
