White House Denounces 'Democrat Hoax' as Additional Epstein Estate Images Disclosed
House Democrats have made public a fresh batch of what they described as "disturbing" images from the property of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, depicting among others Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and former British royal Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
The initial drop of 19 images—some of which have been previously circulated—along with another 70 released later on Friday constitute a small number of the almost 100,000 images provided to the House investigative panel, which is examining the behavior and associations of Epstein.
The shamed investor died by an apparent self-inflicted death in a New York prison cell in 2019 after being indicted on sex-trafficking charges.
Prominent Personalities in the Images
Featured among the notable figures shown in the opening set are well-known figures featuring film director Woody Allen; Microsoft founder Bill Gates; and Richard Branson, originator of the Virgin conglomerate.
Donald Trump appears in three of the initial 19 images. In one, he is photographed with six women, whose faces are blacked out.
White House Response
The White House reacted to the release in a statement, charging Democrats of purposefully "cherry-picking" the images for partisan aims and to "attempt to fabricate a false narrative."
"This Democratic fabrication against President Trump has been consistently disproven," a White House spokesperson said, maintaining that "the current government has accomplished more for Epstein's survivors than Democrats have at any point by frequently urging disclosure, disclosing thousands of pages of records, and demanding further investigations into Epstein's Democrat friends."
Democratic Lawmaker Comment
The images were disclosed lacking captions, but as stated by a Democratic representative from California and ranking member of the investigative panel, they raise more questions about Epstein's associations with wealthy individuals.
"It is time to halt this White House concealment and bring justice to the victims of Jeffrey Epstein and his powerful friends," he stated in a release.
The release of these materials comes as the House panel pressing on with its investigation into the affair.
